To Begin With...

It starts with an interview.  You'll sit down with Jack and discuss what it is you're looking for in a shot.  Whether it is a headshot/portrait or a commercial/product session, we'll discuss your session's goals, style options, and locations.  With our handy-dandy questionnaire, we'll customize your session and provide you with the best possible experience.  Through the interview, you and 3MW Studio will be able to establish what to expect and how it is going to happen.

What We Use...

While a lot of studios use film, we prefer digital.  So, at 3MW Studio you'll find we've made a serious investment in quality equipment to ensure brilliant images.

What to Wear...
Always have complete outfits picked out to wear during a session.  Variety is the spice of almost everything, so it is good to include a solid selection that represents you.  We recommend casual, business casual, and a more formal attire, but photographs have been taken of people in everything from Halloween costumes to button-down shirts and fishnet stockings.  Just keep in mind that you want to wear clothes that are going to flatter, and we will tell you if they don't flatter.

Hair and Make-Up...
It isn't recommended you wear heavy make up, even in glamour shots.  While it is recommended to add a little color to your face, it is more important to go by what you normally wear.  If you don't normally wear make up, it will look odd if you go heavy.  If you normally wear make up, it is recommended you wear the same amount.  In case of touch ups or Jack's recommendation that you apply more, it is always best to have your make up bag on hand.  3MW Studio does not supply the services of a hairstylists or make up artist; however, we do know highly skilled hair stylists and make up artists who can be called in for an extra fee.

Airbrushing/Touch Ups...
The finished photographs you receive will have some airbrushing done to them.  We will mask the odd blemish or other imperfection, but we do not perform miracles.  If you want us to cover your bald spot or shed an extra 20 pounds off your frame - we're not the studio for you.
